Goals
? To provide a nurturing Christian
environment to help children
mature spiritually.
? To foster social development
through cooperation and by urging
each child to play/work independ-
ently and in groups. Children will
be taught to respect the rights
and feelings of others.
? To foster cognitive development by
providing opportunities that will
stimulate awareness and curiosity.
Self-expression will be encouraged
through language, art, music and
play.
? To facilitate the development of
large motor skills through such
outdoor and indoor activities as
jumping, pulling, climbing and
throwing. Manipulatives such as
blocks and puzzles will aid in the
development of fine motor skills.
